Kill Me Softly Andley Part 18

I spent two days wishing I could make the wings come out of my back. I spent most of that time laying face down on the ancient couch while Andy gave me a soothing back rub. "Andy..." I moaned when he walked into the room. "What, Ashes?" he whispered as he sat down beside me. "How much longer?" I moaned and he rubbed my back softly. His fingertips went up to the bit of wings that had already ripped through my skin. His fingers stroked the black feathers softly. "Soon. Probably sometime today or tomorrow." he whispered holding my hand and giving it a soft kiss. "It hurts," I whined as the daily aches ran down my spine. I could feel my wings trying to stretch out and grow out of the skin and as gruesome as it sound, I couldn't see what was happening. I used what little control I had of my wings to try to stretch them out so I could just get the pain over with. "Ashes," Andy whispered. "What?" I moaned looking up at him. His blue eyes looked startled and amazed at the same time. "What?" I shouted a small bit. "Your wings..." he whispered and that's when I realized that the pain in my back didn't hurt as much. I looked at him and said, "Did they come out?" he nodded his head and I stretched my wings out. "I want to see them," I whispered and he nodded his head and helped me up. Slowly I walked over to the cracked mirror and that's when I saw them. Two strong looking wings were sticking out of my back. They looked magnificent. I stared at the coloring of my feathers. Half black, half white. That was the only difference between mine and Andy's feathers. "Does each demon have different color feathers from the rest?" I asked Andy and he just stared at me confused. "I-I don't know..." Andy said looking deep in thought. "Jake and Ella's wings are midnight black like mine." he said and my eyes widened. "I called them so they're supposed to be here later to see you. For some reason they want to check up on the progress with your change into a demon." I just nodded my head and continued to stare at my magnificent wings.

Ella and Jake came about two hours later. "So did it hurt when your wings came in?" Ella asked me in her usual teasing way. "Yeah, did it hurt when yours came in?" I said sneering at her. "Yeah, but I can take pain," she said staring at her nails. Andy was whispering to Jake and Jake looked at me and said, "Let me see your wings." He acted like he controlled me, but he doesn't . He's not my boss, Andy is. I looked at andy and he nodded his head trying his best to hide his worried expression. I tugged my black shirt off and threw it in the floor and flexed out my wings. I heard Ella gasp loudly. "What's the matter?" I asked and Jake grabbed Andy's arm and motioned towards Ella to follow him. They dragged Andy into another room and clicked the lock shut. I ran over to the door and pushed my ear up to the wood. "Demons don't have half black, hald white wings!" Ella shouted and I heard Jake shush her. "What is he then if he's not a demon?" andy said. "Andrewhe's a hybrid. Half angel, half demon." Jake whispered. "Is there a problem with that?" Andy asked I could hear the panic in his voice. "You don't get it, do you?" Ella screeched at him. "You fucked up Andy!" she continued. "Ella shut up!" Jake commanded and I heard her get quiet. "What is she talking about?" Andy asked trying his best not to break down and cry. "Andy, hybrids, angels, and demons don't mix... If you council finds out about him then... It'll get us all in trouble... He can't stay with you..." Jake whispered and I heard something fall to the floor....
