Chapter 14: You Were Stitching Up the Seams

~Andy's POV~

I didn't truly know what was happening.

I was letting this fallen angel pull me in. I was falling head over heels for him.

Our love was unforgivably forbidden.

I think that made me want him more.

It was fun, incredibly fun.

I wanted to run away with him, forget everything and everyone.

He was mine and I was his.

Nobody was going to take us away. That was it. End of story.

We trailed back to the bedroom and just laid in bed, cuddled close together.

Every time we looked into each other's eyes, my heart skipped a bit. I blushed a bright red and I couldn't take it.

No one had ever made me feel this way, or shown me any shred of love.

Ashley was different though, he was perfect.

He actually cared about me and I felt like we were made for each other.

We were so close, it's like we were one. There was no space between us and I never wanted there to be.

Occasionally, we would whisper sweet nothings to each other, aimlessly.

The tv was on but we were both in our own little worlds, not really watching it.

I looked up at him and bit my lip before speaking up, "Ashley?"

"Yes?" He replied quietly.

I continued to stare up at him, "H-How did you lose your wings?"

The happiness on his face seemed to vanish.

It was replaced with a look of rage that sent a chill down my spine.

"Don't." He simply growled.

"B-But.." I tried to intervene.

"I said don't!" He snapped, shoving me away.

My whole being filled with regret as I sat on the edge of the bed away from him.

I wanted to talk, apologize, but I couldn't find my voice.

I was too scared.

I simply nodded and turned away from him.

This wasn't like any scene of a chick-flick.

He didn't pull me close and apologize.

We simply sat away from each other, one raging and the other trembling..

I had lost the only thing I ever had..
