Pairing: Damien Hart and Luna Jade from Almost Famous

1. You're Insane by Escape the Fate

“What the hell are you doing?” I asked Damien as he held his guitar over his head, just about to smash it on the pavement. It was the only one that he hadn't broken from when we first started the band and seeing him about to break it, made my heart stop.

“I'm so fucking sick of this, Luna! I mean seriously, first we go on tour with some band that is supposed to be so famous, but get so much hate. Second, this guy looks exactly like me... Ugh!” He shouts in rage before slamming it onto the ground and I watched the neck split in half, barely hanging together by the strings.

“Whoa, whoa, calm down...” I said, walking up to him, but he pointing a finger at me.

“Justin knows it's as weird as I am. I mean, have you seen the looks that those guys give us? It's fucking weird,” He said.

“It may be weird, but we're on tour. Besides, we didn't schedule it, our manager did. You know that and I know that. If you and Justin have such issues with it then why don't you go talk to Julia? She is the one who can sort it out.”

2. Blurry by Puddle of Mudd

Weeks had passed since Damien and I had gotten into a fight. I knew that he had left to go see Ruby and I hated that. I still had feelings for him though I was with Andy. I didn't care though, now that Damien was out of the picture for a while, I could focus on my life and the importance of the band to me.

Well, I thought I could do that until I went out to the mall and I ran into a familiar face.

“You look nice in that dress,” a husky voice behind me said and I turned around and met a pair of blue eyes. At first, I thought it was Andy, but then I remembered that he had cut most of his hair off just days ago.

“What are you doing here?” I asked, standing in place frozen. I was looking into buying myself a new outfit for the road. I never really got the chance to wash my outfits after concerts since we were always moving onto another city.

“Ruby kicked me out. She's fucking somebody else,” he said, shrugging, and going to his pocket to grab something before pulling his hand out. We stared at each other for a few more moments until he approached me and grabbed onto the thin strap of the dress, running his fingers along his shoulder.

“I'd love to get you out of this,” he whispered softly and my face heated up crimson red. I remembered how close we were. How the sex was sensual and always meant something to the both of us. With Andy, it was just usually drunken nights where we had both had nightmares. I wanted something more than once.

I glanced around us to make sure that no one was watching and I crept into the dressing room, pulling Damien's hand so that he could come with me.

3. Afraid by the Neighbourhood

Night after night I had remained awake. I'd sit there, drinking as much coffee, energy drinks, and whatever I could get my hands on. I couldn't sleep because of my nightmares. They plagued my mind and I knew as soon as I shut my eyes, the demon would come out to chase me once again.

Damien laid in bed beside me, asleep. His soft snores filled the air as I stared at the flickering screen on the tv. Some infomercial was on but I didn't care. Staring at it kept my eyes from drooping shut. The bright lights lit up the room and just kept me from dozing off.

“Luna?” Damien's half asleep voice rang through the air and I glanced over at him while I looked at the bedside table, staring at the LED numbers on the clock. “What are you doing up? It's half past three,” he said softly and I shook my head, laying down on the pillow before he wrapped his arm around me.

I hadn't slept in over 72 hours. The effects were starting to get to me. I'd see the demon while I was awake. He'd run around in my vision and smile from the shadows of the room.

4. Driven Under by Seether

I knew I had messed up when I saw the text message flash across my screen. Her name in boldface, blocking out Ruby's on my screen. I picked up the phone and held it in my hands, unlocking it and staring right at the message.

Luna: Come home, baby. I miss you.

It had been forever since Luna had said something like that to me and seeing those words told me that something was off. I had told her that I had went to LA for a few days to clear my head and figure out a few things for my band. I hadn't actually went there though... In reality, I went to see Ruby. She was going through withdrawals from her cocaine addiction and she needed someone at her house for her when she got sick.

Ruby and I had always been close and well, there was a connection between me and her. I knew it was there. I mean, that's the main reason why I came at her call. That's the main reason I lied to my girlfriend to come see her.... It's the reason that we had sex almost as soon as I walked through the front door.

Another text joined the first.

Luna: Baby, I can't live without you. Come home.

I stared at the words, biting my lip as I heard Ruby step into the room with a cup of tea. She took a sip of it before sitting on the couch beside me. I could see the sick look on her face and I wrapped an arm around her shoulder, putting my phone on the table out in front of me, ignoring the two messages.

5. Latch by Disclosure feat. Sam Smith

The club lights flashed around the bar as I leaned against it with a drink in my hand. I could see her dancing there with her blond hair swinging around her shoulders. She wore a short white dress that clung tightly to her figure and her eyes flashed towards my way with a smile on her lips.

I approached her slowly, leaving my drink sitting on the bar, and as I stepped forward, she came closer to me, before finally wrapping her arms around my neck, pulling mine around her waist. We were only inches apart from one another and she gave me a devious smile.

“Damien, right?” She whispered softly, only loud enough for me to hear. It was almost like the club had became silent just for the two of us. In reality, the part was still going on in full blast.

“I'm Luna. I'm sure you've seen me around campus,” she said, smiling, and moving with the beat of the music. She batted her long eyelashes at me and I felt like I was trapped in a spell. I'm sure that I wasn't the first guy who had found her extremely attractive, but I couldn't help it. She was beautiful.

I held onto her tightly and she leaned up slightly, her lips barely touching mine before she kissed me.
The pairing I had in this one is very old. I'm sure many of you won't know about it. In November of 2011, I started writing a story called Almost Famous, it was about a band who was touring and their troubles with everything. At the time, I had wanted to have a career in music, but that was before I realized my true calling was literature. It ended up being an accidental Black Veil Brides fanfiction and looking back at it, I realized how much I grew while writing about Luna, Damien, Justin, James, and Drew.
Though it's not my best work and it isn't spaced our properly, you guys can go take a look at it lilypetal4348.deviantart.com/g…
