Wow, it's been a super long time since I've posted a journal here. Hope everyone has been doing well. I know I haven't been posting on here much in recent years, but I still check my account every now and again. I see the occasional favorites on some of my older works, and I think it's awesome that people are still somehow coming across my posts, though I haven't really updated anything in a very, very long time. For anyone who has been wondering where I've been, there's a lot that's happened in the past couple of years. I kind of dropped off of the face of the earth here because of work mainly. Back in mid-2019, I was promoted to a keyholder at my former job at a pet store. It came with a lot of extra hours, and I stopped having a ton of time to write amongst other things. I left my job there in December, and now work for a pharmacy retailer as a shift supervisor, which is even more hours, along with better pay. I told myself I wasn't going to get into this, but after seeing the amount of threats to schools in my area in the past two weeks, I have to speak up about something. Yes, this blog is about the current controversy surround gun control, mental health reforms, arming teachers, etc. I'm tired of having this brew up in my head for weeks.
